Privacy Policy
Effective as of April 07, 2025
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to Blockchain Basics Academy ("Company", "we", "us", "our") and governs data collection and usage. The Company's website is a Blockchain Education platform site. By using the Company website and services, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, the Company may collect personally identifiable information when you voluntarily provide it, such as your:
- First and Last Name
- Email Address
When you purchase the Company's products and services, payment processing, including the collection of billing and credit card information, is handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. Stripe uses this information to complete the purchase transaction.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through the Company's public message boards (our Community feature), this information may be collected and used by others.
We do not collect additional personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) sending us an email message or interacting with our support channels (including our AI chatbot 'Tiff', which may record interaction data and email if provided for follow-up); (c) submitting payment information via Stripe when purchasing products and services. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We may also gather additional technical or usage information as described below.
Use of your Personal Information
The Company collects and uses your personal information to:

- Process transactions via our payment processor (Stripe).
- Provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
- Provide you with notices about your account, subscription, and service updates.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- Notify you about changes to our website or any products or services we offer or provide through it.
- Provide customer support, including through our AI chatbot and human follow-up if requested.
- Improve our website, platform, and services (e.g., by analyzing aggregated usage data).

- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
- For any other purpose with your consent.
The Company may also use your personally identifiable information (if you opt-in) to inform you of other products or services available from the Company and its affiliates.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
The Company shares data only with trusted service providers necessary to deliver our services to you. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to the Company. Our key service providers include:
- Platform & Application Provider: Our website, member portal, and integrated applications (including Smart Websites, Funnels, CRM, AI tools like Tutor/Professor etc.) are hosted and operated via the Deal.ai white label platform. Deal.ai processes data as necessary to provide this core functionality.
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. We share necessary transaction information with Stripe but do not store your full payment card details.
- Chatbot Services: Our website chatbot (Tiff) is powered by technology associated with Deal.ai's Marketing API (`api.marketing.deal.ai`), which processes interaction data to provide support.
- Analytics Information: We may use built-in platform analytics or other standard analytics services to understand general website usage and improve our services. These tools typically collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable information. If we implement tools that collect more detailed data (like Google Pixel for marketing), this policy will be updated, and such tools will be subject to your consent where required.
- Email Service Providers: Third parties may be used to send transactional or marketing emails (subject to your opt-in for marketing).
The Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Company or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company, or the public.
Tracking User Behavior & Automatically Collected Information
We may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within our platform (`blockchainbasicsacademy.com` and `ai.blockchainbasicsacademy.com`), primarily to understand how our services are used (such as course progress) and which features are most popular to improve our offerings. We may also automatically collect general technical information (such as IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, referring website addresses) for service operation, quality maintenance, security, and statistical analysis. This may involve the use of cookies and similar technologies as described below. We do not currently engage in detailed individual user behavior tracking for targeted advertising outside of our platform's direct operations.
Use of Cookies
The Company's website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Company pages, or register with Company site or services, a cookie helps the Company to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Company website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Company features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Company services or websites you visit. We may in the future use other standard tracking technologies like web beacons or pixels for marketing and analytics purposes; our use of such technologies will be consistent with this policy and applicable law.
